Spillt pulled me in for another design round to discover a look for the streaming series: Low Country. We wanted to find something that felt grounded in the Murdaugh family's history and legacy. So, I began designing some base elements that felt like a dated family crest that laid out the family tree. We quickly narrowed in on an approach that felt right for the show.

With so many images being utilized as b-roll within the documentary, we also needed to figure out how image and headline treatments would look and behave. The key idea here was finding an interesting and moody approach to a kind of microfilm reader. I also introduced some glass elements that could roll across the frame to bring just a touch of depth to these relatively flat designs.
